The Fight for the Female Vote Continues

Coming on the heals of a piece analyzing Steve Rowe’s attempt to secure the female vote two other Democratic candidates have followed suit.  As reported in an update to the Rowe article, Rosa Scarcelli will be continuing her listening tour.  The tour has three stops, titled “Breakfast of Champions”, sponsored by the Maine Women’s Policy Center.  Libby Mitchell also attended two of the “BoC” meetings.  “‘Champion’ is the word of the past two days,” Mitchell said on her Facbook page this morning. “I enjoyed a chance to attend the Maine Women’s Lobby Breakfast of Champions in Bangor yesterday morning and in Portland today. Last night I traveled to Freeport for The Maine Children’…;s Alliance “Champions for Children” celebration where I was invited to speak. I’m proud of all of the hard work being done in Maine on behalf of women and children!”  There’s more.  The Women Under Forty PAC has announced they endorse Rosa Scarcelli for governor.  The battle for the Maine’s female voters will be fierce among the Democrats and things are clearly just getting started.  Read the full release on the WUFPAC announcement after the cut.
